It looks like a Panda Express will be popping up near Lucas in Collin County this summer. The newest location for the fast-food, Chinese restaurant chain would be located at W. Lucas Rd. and Angel Pkwy., according to a recent project filing.

The filing states the restaurant will be in new, ground-up construction. The space will be just over 2,500 square feet, and construction could be complete in July.

Panda Express diners can enjoy bowls and plates featuring a variety of ingredients inspired by Chinese flavors. Guests can select a side of chow mein, vegetables, or fried, steamed, or brown rice. Then, a protein can be added such as Beijing Beef, Orange Chicken, Honey Walnut Shrimp, and Broccoli Beef.

You can add a chicken egg roll or two, veggie spring rolls, and cream cheese rangoons to your order. Catering is also an option.

Panda Express has more than 300 locations across Texas with about 100 of those in operation across the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. Panda Express is family-owned and operated. The Asian dining concept was founded by Andrew and Peggy Cherng in California in 1983. Panda Restaurant Group is the parent company of Panda Express, which now has more than 2,300 locations.
