The Texas dining scene was set abuzz earlier this year when beloved burger brand White Castle announced plans for its DFW debut. Fans eager to sink their teeth into the chain’s signature sliders have more reason than ever to be excited; White Castle has applied for permits, revealing a slew of fresh information-including a precise address.

The formidable burger titan will be setting up shop at 4520 Destination Drive in a newly-erected building. Paperwork filed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation shows that the storefront will have a dedicated 3,430 square feet of space in which to serve its future customers. The submitted forms further state that White Castle will have a double drive-thru for visitors on the go and patio seating for those who prefer their dining al fresco.

Locals will be able to begin charting the restaurant’s progress next spring; work is set to begin on White Castle’s inaugural DFW location on April 1 of 2026 and is projected to wrap by September 1.

White Castle has been serving up satisfied customers since 1921. The chain was founded in Wichita, Kansas, and currently has a heavy concentration in the midwest and New York. The brand helped popularize sliders, with options ranging from classic cheeseburgers to panko breaded fish sliders.
