A great trip requires the proper fuel for both the transportation and the traveler. The Dallas-Fortworth International Airport is doing its part to ensure that weary flyers get the nutrition they need for a successful and pleasant journey. To that end, the transit hub is welcome Salad and Go and its healthy approach to fast-casual cuisine, reports the Dallas Business Journal.

The restaurant chain will be opening as part of the Terminal A expansion planned for the 2400 Aviation Drive airport. A pier is being added on that will provide a supplemental 140,000 square feet to the terminal and some of that space will be dedicated to Salad and Go, alongside several other new eateries.

An opening timeline is not yet available for Salad and Go’s new airport home, however the concept is still in the early stages of development. The DFW Airport board gave its approval to the restaurant on May 1. The DFW Airport’s press release about the upcoming expansion describes Salad and Go as: “part of dozens of new concessions coming online over the next few years.”

Though Salad and Go has been feeding customers since 2013 and has more than 140 locations, this new Dallas home will be a first for the fast-casual concept, in that it will be the very first to grace an airport.
