Fireclay Tile is a Northern California-based architectural tile company founded in 1986 in San Jose. The company has built its identity around sustainable, handmade tile production, becoming the first tile company to introduce 100% lead-free glazes and developing recycled tile bodies made with materials such as granite dust, post-consumer glass, and porcelain.
Fireclay’s product lines include glazed ceramic tile, thin brick, and recycled Crush Glass tile, with designs ranging from classic subway tile to handmade patterns in custom colors.
The brand has positioned itself as a sustainability-focused alternative in the tile industry, emphasizing a reduced environmental impact throughout its manufacturing process.
According to Fireclay’s website, the brand already has a design team supporting Texas clients remotely, including representatives based in Dallas and San Antonio. A dedicated Oak Lawn showroom would give the company its first physical retail presence in the Dallas market.
