Aurora Prepares to Welcome Two Housing Communities

KB Home announced the launch of its latest housing developments on September 9, 2025. Nestled at the corner of Harvest Road and Flat Rock Trail, Murphy Creek Classic and Reserve are set to present Aurora residents with bedroom suites, modern kitchens, and more. According to the press release, prices start at $ 480,000.

Features of the Murphy Creek Residences

Murphy Creek Classic’s one- and two-story homes feature up to four bedrooms and two-and-a-half bathrooms. Whereas, Murphy Creek Reserve’s one- and two-story floor plans include up to six bedrooms and four bathrooms.

Buyers will be able to personalize floor plans, exterior styles, and finishes to fit their needs. This is to ensure that Aurora tenants receive homes of their preferences. Residents in the Metro Denver area can personalize their floor plans, exterior styles, and more.

Homes feature open, light-filled layouts and energy-efficient designs, including ENERGY STAR® certification.

A public golf course, walking trails, playgrounds, and parks are some of the community amenities offered by KB Home.

Both Murphy Creek Classic and Reserve offer easy access to Interstate 70, E-470, and downtown Denver. Kevin McAndrews, president of KB Home’s Colorado division, noted the communities are located near local schools. The residences are also nearby downtown Aurora, a hub of boutique shopping, cafés, dining options, and more amenities.

Residents will also have quick access to the Rocky Mountains, home to resorts and year-round recreation.

With easy highway access, customizable homes, and neighborhood amenities, Murphy Creek aims to appeal to Aurora homebuyers.
