NOC Opens New Integration Facility for Tactical Edge Ground Systems
Northrop Grumman Corporation’s new facility in Englewood is located near Centennial Airport. The advanced integration space will allow the company to “scale the delivery of ground system capabilities that deliver mission-critical data to American and allied warfighters,” according to the press release.
The facility will be used to develop fixed and mobile ground system technologies. These will help military forces carry out missions in challenging conditions, especially where communication is limited.
The systems developed at the facility will ensure that troops receive the right information quickly, enabling faster, better-informed decisions and improved mission resilience. It will support critical functions such as tracking objects in space, warning of missile threats, managing satellites, and processing data across various operational environments.
