The Cherry Cricket is ready to officially open its fourth location, expanding to a new neighborhood. Celebrating 80 years of serving locals with delicious burgers, this opening marks a milestone in its new home in Broomfield. The new location represents both a brand milestone and a revitalization of the former Old Chicago space.
Located at 1280 E 1st Avenue, Broomfield, the new restaurant will open to the community on August 25, 2025. While work at the space continues, the neighborhood is already looking forward to the new location. The restaurant is taking over the former Old Chicago site, a space that holds fond memories for many in the community.
Old Chicago Restaurant Site to Transform into the New Location
The Broomfield location features an approximately 8,500-square-foot space. The space will include a covered patio and a Burger Garden with seating for more than 325 guests. It is taking over a former Old Chicago restaurant site, bringing approximately 100 new jobs to the community.

MA Architects and Jordy Construction are working on bringing The Cherry Cricket’s charm to Broomfield. After their success with the Littleton location, this team is now working on bringing the brand to its new home.
