A new microbrewery still in the conceptual stages has been announced for the west Denver suburbs. Blue Tape Brewing is the moniker for the company that is working towards having a Wheat Ridge brick-and-mortar operation, according to Colorado Beer Geek.

Founded by Warner Perkins, a professional home brewer and classically trained chef, the venue is set to serve classic craft beers once it opens. H has a storied background at a number of big-name places, like Tommyknocker Brewery, Bierfrucht, and Wynn Las Vegas.

Perkins has been documenting his journey toward opening Blue Tape Brewing since 2021, sharing updates on Facebook about his home brewing experiments and plans. His slogan is “I Quit My Job for This”, highlighting his dedication to pursuing this venture.

There aren’t many details available about the upcoming concept or a timeline for the project, and requests for comment to the company went unanswered.
