Denver is about to get more Badass… and by that we don’t mean the city is set to become cooler, we mean the Hawaii-based coffee franchise Badass Coffee is set to open up on 2990 Speer Blvd., replacing the Starbucks on the corner of Speer and Federal.

Denver-based Royal Aloha Coffee Co. moved their headquarters to Denver in 2019 and now the brand is set to open coffee shops in Colorado too. Badass Coffee has 18 locations across the U.S. and plans to open six new stores total including the two Colorado locations.

When What Now Denver talked with Franchise Brand Manager Taylor Fish, we were told that “at Bad Ass Coffee of Hawaii, guests may expect to be transported to the Islands through every “aloha” and “mahalo” while enjoying the laid-back atmosphere that our locations have to offer.” The coffee brand serves “Hawaiian coffee, signature lattes, espresso drinks, food, and more.”

This Badass Coffee location on Speer Blvd. will be neighboring other businesses in the area such as a Subway, Indian restaurant Crown of India, Menchie’s Frozen Yogurt, and more.
