Coffee lovers in Colorado Springs have reason to be excited, as Beans and Brews Coffee House prepares to open a new location in town soon. The caffeine franchise is working on a store at 3703 Bloomington Street, near Powers and North Carefree, according to its website.

The expansion is led by husband-and-wife team Andrea Amato Kruth and David Kluth, who are bringing the well-known Utah-based chain to a new area. This will be the company’s second outpost in the Centennial State, following an Englewood location south of I-470.

“My husband and I have some exciting news.  We are opening a coffeehouse – expected to open Fall 2025!  We are so excited to bring Beans and Brews Coffee House to COS!” Kruth wrote on Facebook.

The couple has been sharing construction progress with the community on social media pages. In early November, it was announced that buildout efforts were beginning. Previously a chiropractic office, several walls are being knocked down for a more open-concept feel.

Originally founded in 1993 in Utah, Beans and Brews quickly gained a reputation for smooth, flavorful coffee perfected through high-altitude roasting. The chain has grown substantially over the years, reaching seven states and nearly 100 locations.
