Boulder Baked, the dessert, soup, and sandwich concept that Boulderites love, is expanding to Superior. The company signed a lease for a new construction location at 2345 Main St, in the downtown area, CBRE reports.

The space is a 1,150-square-foot property at the Origin, a new apartment building with mixed-used retail ground space.  It’s in a convenient location where US-36 crosses McCaslin Boulevard.

Boulder Baked was the first tenant to secure a deal, and signed a 10-year lease. The new location is expected to open in February. There are many other retail spaces neighboring the location that are available for leasing.

The company received a $50,000 grant towards development that was approved by the Superior Board of Trustees, Daily Camera reported. It’s expected that the store will “generate $10,000 a year in sales tax” and employ 10-15 people, the article states.
