A new brewery concept will be taking over for the vacant Black Project space property at 1290 S. Broadway. According to the Denver Post, Monolith Brewing is the new business that will open at the address.

The emerging brand is a labor of love for Stephen Monahan, who has a long history in hops. He’s worked in a number of establishments as head brewer and will now be opening his own.

Monolith Brewing will have a menu of IPAs, lagers, stouts, and ales. The company has been able to take advantage of the fact that the business that was housed there before was also a brewery and left much of the equipment and fixtures.
