D Bar will open at the Denver International Airport (8500 Peña Blvd, Denver, CO 80249) sometime next year, according to 9 News. While a specific debut date has not been determined, many DIA concessions slated for 2023 are reporting grand openings in the year’s first quarter.
Started in 2008 by Food Network’s Keegan Gerhard and his also-chef wife Lisa Bailey, D Bar is intent on “[making] food look as good as it tastes.”
In the years since opening, “the couple has spent almost every waking hour perfecting pastries and the concept of delectable,” explains Denver.org. “This relentless commitment to crafted desserts turned a pastry shop into an eclectic restaurant that has quickly become one of Denver’s must-visit culinary cornerstones.”
The restaurant + bar’s website says the joint is “fun dining at its finest…[with] the ‘d’ in D Bar stand[ing] for drinks, dining, and dessert.” D Bar’s menu offers an array of snacks, entrees, and sweet treats with concepts ranging from hush puppies to Greek meatballs and classic milkshakes to authentic macaroons.
