Freedom Street Social, which is expected to open in Arvada sometime this spring, will house a number of restaurant vendors including Chicago-based Giordano’s Pizza.
Italian immigrant brothers Efren and Joseph Boglio opened the first Giordano’s in Chicago in 1974. The pizzeria featured their mother’s stuffed deep-dish pizza recipe. The brand has grown across Illinois and now boasts dozens of restaurants in other states including Colorado, Florida, Ohio, and Nevada.
Giordano’s first opened in Denver in 2018 at 1600 California St. Two other locations have opened in Colorado since then—at 24 N. Broadway in Denver and at 6020 Stallion Dr. in Loveland.
The Giordano’s menu features starters such as calamari, mozzarella triangles, and traditional wings. Pizzas can be ordered with a variety of crust options including Giordano’s famous stuffed deep-dish, extra thin, thin, and parmesan crusted pan pizza.
Diners can create their own pizzas from a variety of topping choices or pick one of Giordano’s signature pizzas. Menu options include the Chicken Pesto-Extra Thin Crust with chicken, pesto, and bruschetta tomatoes or the Meat and More Meat-Thin Crust with pepperoni, sausage, salami, and bacon. Salads and sandwiches are also available along with an Oversized Skillet Cookie for dessert.
The address for the future site of Giordano’s at Freedom Street Social is 15177 Candelas Pkwy., Arvada, CO 80007.
