Chick-fil-A is planning to add another spot in Colorado Springs. The new location is expected to be built at the south end of Citadel Crossing.

Chick-fil-A is best known for its simple but tasty Original Chicken Sandwich with two pickles served on a toasted butter bun. The chicken restaurant features nuggets, both grilled and fried, grilled chicken sandwiches, salads, and more. And don’t forget the waffle fries!

According to the Chick-fil-A website, founder Truett Cathy opened the first Chick-fil-A restaurant in Atlanta’s Greenbriar Shopping Center in 1967. The chicken franchise now has thousands of locations across the United States.

The new Colorado Springs location could open northeast of Academy Boulevard and Platte Avenue by the end of 2022, according to an article by The Gazette. But remember, it will be closed on Sundays.
