Black Rock Coffee Bar is expanding its footprint in Colorado Springs, with a new upcoming location announced on the heels of its first store in the city opening. According to The Gazette, a store is in the works at the address 5560 Barnes Road.

The rapidly growing coffee chain hopes to open this facility around summer/fall of this year. It follows the brand’s first location in the city, which just opened this week in the Northgate neighborhood. Records also show the company is eyeing another store at 2933 Sage Street.

Founded in Portland, Oregon, in 2008, Black Rock Coffee Bar has expanded across the western and southwestern United States, with locations in Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Oregon, Texas, and Washington. The company now operates approximately 150 locations, its website shows

Black Rock Coffee Bar offers a diverse menu featuring premium roasted coffees, mochas, lattes, energy drinks, and teas, along with hot chocolate, smoothies, and juices. And in addition to beverages, Black Rock locations serve locally made pastries and breakfast items.
