A recent Business Den article announced that Brian Pyle, CEO of mega-franchise group ERC Hospitality, signed a major deal with 7 Brew Drive Thru Coffee. As part of the development agreement, Pyle’s hospitality group will open 31 locations in the Denver area over the next five years.

Eight leases are currently being worked out, and Pyle expects a Green Valley Ranch location to open later this year, and another in Aurora at I-225 and Mississippi to open early next year. The establishments will be small, “roughly 550 square feet with two drive-thru lanes.”

Pyle told the publication that he thinks quick coffee is the next big thing in terms of consumer trends. ERC Hospitality already owns 16 Colorado Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburger franchise locations.

7 Brew Drive Thru Coffee was started six years ago and has grown to reach 17 states. In addition to the Denver-area deal with ERC, 7 Brew also signed agreements with two other franchisees in the state.
