Coffee giant Starbucks is set to open a new café at 21 Spectrum Loop in Colorado Springs, city records reveal. The project is part of the Shops at Polaris Pointe retail development.

The project site, spanning 0.69 acres, will feature a single-story building with a drive-thru. Starbucks proposes that the building will be 25 feet high, with a total surface area of 2,429 square feet, with 25 parking spaces.

A land use review document was signed on August 5 by the consultant, property owner, and developer. The project is scheduled to be ongoing from January 2025 to April 2025, permits state.

The Shops at Polaris Pointe serves as the primary shopping hub for the rapidly expanding Northeast Corridor of Colorado Springs. The area is home to a variety of other retailers, including Sprouts Natural Grocers, AT&T, Mod Pizza, Chick-fil-A, CB & Potts, Kneaders Bakery, and Boot Barn.

Starbucks did not return a request for comment about the project.
