A healthy-meal food preparation service offering fast-casual meals is one of Fort Collins’ latest businesses, and it’s undergoing contracting work. Some items still need to be completed at Clean Eatz’s new location — 103 W. Harvard St. — city records show.
The site previously housed Chiro Now and Loan Stop. It is a stand-alone store located at the corner of South College and Harvard St. in Midtown. The café operates Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and on weekends from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Permits show that the business is seeking approval to reframe the roof, paint the exterior, make accommodations for a new patio and parking, and update landscaping. The project is currently listed as “routed for review” on the city’s website.
Mike Collins, owner of the Clean Eatz franchise in Johnstown, is also the operator of the new Fort Collins location. Collins opened the Johnstown store over two years ago, after a 30-year career in corporate America in operations.
Founded in North Carolina in 2013, Clean Eatz is now in 23 states. The concept specializes in meal prep, providing both frozen and fresh meals for pick-up or dine-in. The menu includes a variety of healthy, macro-balanced meals such as BBQ Mashed Potato Bowls, Green Chile Carnitas Burritos, Chicken Carbonara Lasagna, and Sweet Chili Beef, among others.
