Dave’s Hot Chicken is expanding further in Colorado, with another location slated to open in Longmont sometime this year. According to 99.9 The Point, an established franchisee within the system is working on a store near the Costco on Ken Pratt Boulevard and Main Street.

The Longmont location is part of a broader expansion strategy by franchisees Jason Beld and Tanner Beld. Jason had previously committed to opening 11 Dave’s Hot Chicken outlets in the Denver and Fort Collins metropolitan areas, as What Now Denver reported last year. He has a few more stores planned for this year.

Posts on Facebook show that the business is joining a new building that is being constructed. It is a 2,500-square-foot end-cap unit. Neighboring tenants include Noire The Nail Bar, Pacific Dental Services, a sandwich shop, and a pizza place.

Dave’s Hot Chicken began in California and ventured outside the state in 2021, with Colorado being among the first expansion locations. Beld signed franchise rights for the Front Range in 2020 and opened his first store in 2021.  There are now more than 200 restaurants open across the US, Canada, and the Middle East.

About the offerings that they will be bringing to town, Beld tells What Now Denver, “It will blow your mind!”
