Dave’s Hot Chicken has announced the coming of its newest location in Highlands Ranch on its website. Located at 1601 Mayberry Dr., the restaurant is part of a multi-unit deal signed by a local franchise group.

The new spot will serve the chain’s signature spicy chicken tenders and sandwiches, offering seven levels of heat, including the infamous “Reaper,” which requires a signed waiver for those brave enough to try it.

The Highlands Ranch location will operate with convenient hours: Sunday to Wednesday from 10:30 AM to 11:00 PM, and Thursday to Saturday from 10:30 AM to 11:00 PM.

At the helm of this expansion is franchisee Jason Beld, who has been responsible for opening multiple locations in Northern Colorado since 2019. After a trip to California, he tasted the food and was impressed by the menu’s focus on high-quality tenders, sandwiches, fries, and a few select sides.

Since its beginnings as a late-night pop-up in Los Angeles, Dave’s Hot Chicken has become a national sensation, with over 200 locations across the United States. The restaurant’s expansion strategy has been fueled by franchising and celebrity endorsement.
