It appears that the Denver ChopHouse & Brewery will undergo some remodeling in the future.

According to a City of Denver permitting application, the Denver ChopHouse plans to add a new exterior covered patio with sliding glass doors to allow entry into the patio from the main dining area. New lighting, flooring, fans, and other finishes will be added to the new patio.

The Denver ChopHouse is located at 1735 19th St., Ste. 100 in the downtown Historic Union Pacific Building near Coors Field. Diners can choose selections from a diverse menu that features hand-cut steaks, chops, and seafood. Diners can begin the meal with a selection of starters including pancetta wrapped jumbo shrimp or jumbo lump crab cakes.

Soups and salads are available, as well as signature steaks such as the filet mignon and New York strip. For sides, diners can enjoy white cheddar mashed potatoes, Brussel sprouts with apple and pancetta, and more.

The restaurant offers an extensive wine collection, as well as handcrafted ales brewed on-site and small batch bourbons. The dessert menu offers a variety of sweet flavors from turtle cheesecake and crème brûlée to tropical key lime pie and Frangelico bread pudding.

The Denver ChopHouse did not return What Now Denver’s request for information about the project, so there’s no word on when construction may be complete.
