In a strategic move to broaden its culinary portfolio, Kelly Operations Group has acquired the esteemed Denver ChopHouse. According to Restaurant Magazine, the holding company is now in charge of operations of the steakhouse, which is located in the Ballpark neighborhood at 1735 19th St. Ste 100.

The deal took place in December, in collaboration with the purchase of four other eatery brands: Rock Bottom Restaurant & Brewery, Gordon Biersch Brewery Restaurant, Ragtime Tavern, and Seven Bridges Grille & Brewery. Other brands in the Kelly portfolio include Claim Jumper Steakhouse & Bar, Lucky Bastard Saloon, Kings Family Restaurants, and Whiskey River Saloon, its website states.

It opened in 1995, situated in the former Union Pacific Railroad Signal Master’s Headhouse. The venue also has a happy hour from 3 PM to 6 PM every weekday at the bar.

Requests for comment from the restaurant and Kelly Companies went unanswered.
