A new place for community members to hang out and chat or create is planned for Denver’s Art District on Santa Fe neighborhood. A bar, food trucks, and a makerspace to offer classes and workshops are in the making for the multi-use event and gathering space dubbed Town Hall Collaborative.
The more than 7,000-square-foot space previously served as a flexible office and conference space. According to City of Denver permitting information, the space would be remodeled into a town hall, library, bar, and community space.
The women-owned Town Hall Collaborative was co-founded by Denise Day and Lauren Beno.
Town Hall Collaborative will be located at 525 Santa Fe Dr., Denver, CO 80204. It is expected to open in May 2022 to provide a space for those looking for community connection, conversation, and engagement.
According to the Art District on Santa Fe website, the nonprofit organization “is dedicated to promoting public awareness of the north Santa Fe Drive area in Denver, Colorado as a unique art, cultural and creative district, and furthering arts, culture, creativity and its education in the Denver metropolitan community.”
Town Hall Collaborative recently launched a Kickstarter to build awareness and gain community support.
