As a rapidly growing coffee chain, Dutch Bros continues to make its mark with its latest expansion. According to construction records, the business will be building a store at 640 Commons Drive in Erie.
This new location, part of extensive development efforts in the city’s expansion, will be a 950-square-foot space. Construction documents show that contractor bids for the project were due in late October, but a timeline for the project was not available.
The City of Erie has officially listed Dutch Bros as “coming soon” on its website. The java giant is joining other soon-to-arrive businesses in the area, such as Chick-fil-A, Little Sunshine’s Playhouse, and Uptown Medical Aesthetics.
Serving hot and cold coffee, lattes, cappuccinos, smoothies, milkshakes, and teas, the company was founded in 1992 by brothers Dane and Travis Boersma. The chain now boasts nearly 900 locations across 17 states.
