Java giant Dutch Bros Coffee is seeking to build a location in Central Park’s Runway 35 North development. City records show the brand was granted an address assignment of 8928 E 46th Ave. last month.

Permitting details show state the company wants to build a “1-story, 950-square-foot Dutch Bros Coffee with dual drive-through lanes with stacking for up to 22 vehicles…An additional service window on the north side of the building will serve walk-up patrons.”

The property will be on the southeast corner of East 46th Place and Xenia Street, part of Runway 35 North’s 12-acre retail center. Data shows the estimated valuation of the project is set at $156,000.

Dutch Bros was started over 30 years ago by two brothers, with just an espresso maker and coffee cart. The chain sells a long list of java drinks, smoothies, teas, and baked goods, and has grown to over 700 locations in 15 states.
