An adventure park called URWLD is set to anchor Denver’s massive new Fox Park development in the Globeville neighborhood. An $80 million venture, the 165,000-square-foot facility will offer entertainment for all ages, as well as concession options, the Denver Post writes.
Construction for the business is scheduled to begin in 2026, and it is expected to open in early 2027, Kevin Bacon, Founder & Group CEO of Urban Legacies Limited, the company behind URWLD, told What Now Denver. It will be one of the new attractions in the Fox Park neighborhood project, which will have a park, two hotels, and a business center. Ground broke on that in January, Connect CRE reports.
URWLD will feature 12 to 15 activities, including zip lines, ice climbing, surfing, scuba diving, rock climbing, canyoneering, bouldering, and spelunking. It will also feature the largest ice wall in the country. There will also be food and beverage options, yet to be announced. It’s expected to host over a million visitors annually.
“All I can say now is that all the various F&B venues in URWLD are all of our own creation, using some of the best designers on the market today. We are excited about Denver and look forward to sharing more information later this year,” Bacon said.
