Colorado-based hospitality, fitness, and social club operator Gravity Haus has taken over management of the Life House Lower Highlands Hotel and its award-winning restaurant, Wildflower. The company announced the exciting change on its social media pages last month, saying the 3638 Navajo St. property is the latest addition to its portfolio.

This transition follows several months of conversations between Gravity Haus and the hotel’s owners. The shift, which officially took effect September 1, means Gravity Haus now oversees the day-to-day operations of the hotel and eatery. All employees, including Wildflower’s executive chef Aiden Tibbets and his team, remain in place.

The restaurant, which opened in 2020 alongside the resort, was just recently recognized in the 2025 Michelin Guide. It is known for a plant-forward menu, natural wines, and seasonal adaptations. Produce is sourced from Chef Tibbet’s mother’s garden.

The property is also just a 10-minute walk from the Gravity Haus ClubHaus on Platte Street, which opened in April and offers elite fitness, coworking, and recovery facilities. Hotel guests will have complimentary access as part of their stay, and its membership program offers discounts to all hotel properties.

“This is a new avenue for us as we begin to look for places where we think our brand is going to be welcomed, and where we think we can make a difference for owners. So going into Denver was a natural evolution for us,” Mike DeFrino, President of Gravity Haus, told What Now Denver. “We think we can impact the financial performance of the hotel and be a great support for Aiden and the team in the restaurant.”
