The Green Valley Ranch neighborhood near Denver International Airport will soon have a new option with Smalls Sliders entering the business community there. A fast-growing Atlanta chain, it’s planning to open a store near the intersection of Green Valley Ranch Boulevard and Telluride Street, the Denver Business Journal writes.
Just east of Peña Boulevard, it will be located in the Gateway Landing center next to the Dutch Bros Coffee. Franchise owner Nick Ralls with Mountain Sliders, LLC’s told What Now Denver it will open next year in the late spring/early summer.
This GVR store is part of a larger 10-unit deal Ralls signed on for with wife Alix and another partner. Johnstown and Northglenn have also been announced as sites of future locations, and those will open first. The brand began in 2019 under Brandon Landry and now has more than 300 locations in development, Restaurant Dive reports.
Smalls Sliders operates with a signature “Can” model – compact shipping container buildings with a drive-thru and outdoor seating. The menu is intentionally focused: sliders, waffle fries, milkshakes, and a highly regarded queso.
