Heaven Creamery will begin offering a variety of sweet treats to customers in Lakewood this spring. The shop will be located in the Belmar shopping district at 7181 West Alaska Dr., Lakewood, CO 80226.
Heaven Creamery serves gelato, ice cream, and sorbet made with 70% less sugar than traditional ice cream and uses natural ingredients without processed sugar, artificial flavors, or additives. More than 500 flavors are in rotation, and the menu varies by location.
Sweet treats include the Gelato Panini, which is a warm brioche bun, ice cream, and chocolate sauce. Or why not try the Reese’s Belgian waffle with peanut butter, chocolate sauce, banana, and Reese’s ice cream? Or the Apple Pie al la Mode?
Coffee, espresso, and latte selections are on the menu. Eskimo pops and milkshakes are also offered, as well as vegan and non-dairy items.
The Heaven Creamery website states CEO Martha Trillo opened her first ice cream shop in Denver in 2008, but the store closed two years later due to personal reasons despite much success.
Trillo opened KIWI International Delights and Coffee in Avon in 2014. She opened the first Heaven Creamery in Centennial in 2020 using the same recipes as KIWI International. Heaven Creamery has two other locations in Cherry Creek North and RiNo in Denver.
The new Lakewood location is expected to open in mid-April, according to a Denver Business Journal article.
