Aviano Coffee will spawn another location inside the Denver International Airport (8500 Peña Blvd, Denver, CO 80249) sometime in summer 2023, depending on permitting, according to founder and CEO Juan Padro.

Aviano Coffee exists among a slew of other thoughtfully considered & critically acclaimed eateries/watering holes crafted by Padro and his team. Their roster includes Ash’Kara (Israeli), Bungalow (tacos and cocktails), Señor Bear (Pan-Latin), Forget Me Not (craft cocktail), Tap & Burger, A5 Steakhouse, and Osito (tacos).

Also coming to DIA are Padro’s Mister Oso — which was originally set to be Señor Bear at the DIA — and a rustic Italian joint called Bar Dough. Padro told What Now Denver he hopes each establishment will “[showcase] the city of Denver’s food [and drink] scene and great chefs to a broader audience, letting travelers know there are great options and well-sourced food at the airport.”

Aviano Coffee will help globetrotters alleviate the dreaded jetlag caused by extensive traveling and red-eye flights with its high-quality, bold brews.

Mister Oso will offer travelers unique salads, empanadas, an array of seasoned & smoked meat tacos (including a vegetarian smoked potato option), and casual desserts like the lauded Choco-Taco.

Bar Dough, a rustic Italian joint, will provide carb-craving patrons crisp, fresh salads; handmade pasta; dough-driven pizzas covered in rich, luxurious toppings; and, of course, laboriously crafted cocktails.

When asked about his favorite menu items, Padro told What Now Denver, “I love our coffee at Aviano, the handmade pasta at Bar Dough, and Mister Oso’s tortillas steal the show – they are Sonoran-style flour tortillas, the best I’ve ever had.”

Padro further commented on the menus saying each will remain complete – as opposed to the truncated version often seen in airports – and the addition of “grab and go” items and breakfast will provide travelers and airport employees even more options.
