Tapster, a self-pour tasting room franchise chain, is making moves on its first Colorado location. New franchisees have been scouting for the perfect spot for months, and according to lease comps, they have finally found it… at 3200 Tejon St. in Denver’s Highlands neighborhood.
Starting next year, the company will be the new tenant in the space, which real estate records show to be a 2,850-square-foot shell on the southeast corner of 32nd and Teton. A five-year lease was signed with NAI Shames Makovsky last month and will begin in March.
The property has undergone a decent amount of change lately. It was sold last year for $3.85 million, and this will be the third F&B iteration to be in the space within the last four years. Westword reports it most recently housed Jacques, a French restaurant that opened in 2023 and closed in May. Prior to that, it was once home to LoHi SteakBar from 2010 to 2022.
Husband-and-wife couple Zac and Meghan Crow are the franchise owners of the establishment and are excited to be a part of bringing the brand to the state. They first signed a franchise agreement earlier this year, Brewbound reports.
This Highlands location will feature more than 40 taps of locally sourced craft beer, wine, cocktails, kombucha, and non-alcoholic options. Guests have the freedom to pour, sample, and pay at their own pace, meaning no long wait times at the bar. Outside food is allowed too — a big plus.
