The Mochinut craze in Colorado shows no signs of stopping. With successful locations popping up in Aurora, Highlands Ranch, and Centennial in recent years, leasing data shows the next stop for the store is 421 W 104th Ave #D in Northglenn.
Specializing in donuts made of mochi, sweet pastries, and delicious deep-fried Korean corn dogs, the concept has grown wildly in recent years as it has exploded in popularity and on social media. There are about now over 120 locations that have opened around the country.
This Northglenn location will be owned by new franchisee Lily Lee, who has been a business owner for the majority of her life. She told What Now Denver that permits were filed last week, so right now the estimated opening will be in August or September.
Lee has some detailed design plans for the location. She is hoping to incorporate a cherry blossom theme, with a “selfie” spot for patrons to take photos at, with a green grass wall, cherry blossom tree, hanging lights, and a chair.
“Pastries and boba are what I love and I can say I am an addict! Therefore I’m very excited to get Mochinut going and start a new chapter in life,” she stated.
