A local restauranteur is working on bringing another business to Loveland. Chrissy French has signed a lease at 127-133 W 4th St. for a business called Rum Bum Tiki, leasing data shows.

French has been a part of the Loveland business community for three decades. She is the owner of  Wicked Tequila Room, Tom Davis Saloon, and Cactus Grille, an eatery her father owned for decades until he retired and passed ownership to her earlier this year.

There are not many details available regarding the new Rum Bum Tiki business, but property records show a five-year lease was signed for the 4,192-square-foot space, which has been empty for four months. It’s on the west end of Loveland’s 4th St. corridor.

Records also show French will share the property with her business associates from The Egg Kings, Jesus Madrib and Cristobal Macias. The two run their breakfast concept out of Cactus Grille, and will be expanding the business in the same building as Rum Bum Tiki.
