A sophisticated cannabis lounge is set to open its doors in March, the Denver Post reports. Located at 3200 E. Colfax Ave., Cirrus is a new venue in the works that will transform the social smoking scene in the Mile High City.
The 8,600-square-foot facility is described in a recent press release as embodying the glitz and glamour of 1920s New York. Designed by Miranda Cullen of Inside Stories, there will be chandeliers, floral arrangements, and a pink piano, along with areas for private parties and events.
Guests at Cirrus can order from a menu of Colorado-grown cannabis products, including premium flower, edibles, and THC-infused beverages, served with the proper tools to indulge. The lounge will also offer snacks for hungry patrons, like cheese sticks and yummy sandwiches.
The company has been posting regular updates on the progress at the building, last week showing a mural painted outside that says “Colorado grown”. It also announced on Instagram that it is hiring around 20 to 30 employees prior to opening.
Cirrus’s founder is Arend Richard, a proponent of cannabis culture being reimagined and becoming more mainstream. Starting as a successful Youtuber in the marijuana space, he went on to found content creation company WeedTube. He posted last year on LinkedIn that the venture has raised more than $2.3 million in funding.
