Lotus Concepts, a hospitality company run by Francois Safieddine, has filed for a building permit with the City of Denver under a concept name called “New Park.”

The restaurant, headed for 2200 Larimer Street, is located in a 100-year-old building that will undergo a complete remodeling of the first floor, as per details of the permit. While the first floor will be used, the second floor will remain vacant except for a duct passage.

The company has a few concepts coming along, as listed on their website, but none of them go by the name “New Park.” However, a recent article from the Denver Post states Safieddine bought the building on Larimer Street for $8 million in 2019.

Among the upcoming concepts, the only one listed on Lotus’s website that has no description is Heaven’s Hall, although it is unclear as to whether or not this is the one moving in.

The building, which houses just over 16,000 square feet, should give them plenty of room, whatever they’ve got planned here.

What Now Denver reached out to Benjamin Bloch, the Director of Development and Construction at Lotus, and Brad Menke, the Vice President, for comment on Wednesday, but both declined to share any information.
