LuLu’s BBQ is a proud Colorado business that has gained a reputation for serving savory meals out of its Louisville location. Now, the company is expanding to an Arvada space, at 10480 Ralston Rd., soon.

Site plans for the second location were approved by the city of Arvada in the spring. The work to be done, as listed in documents, includes improvements to the parking lot, outdoor dining area, and existing building. Years ago, the space hosted the bar Taunaz Tavern.

The project narrative states that the business will add an ADA-accessible ramp, a freestanding sign along Ralston Road, an enclosure around the patio, and a number of landscaping changes.

LuLu’s BBQ specializes in ribs, brisket, pulled pork, wings, chicken, turkey, sausage, and cornbread; they even have tofu options for vegetarian patrons. The business smokes its meat daily and makes all rubs and sauces from scratch.
