World Pizza Champion Tony Gemignani’s franchise Slice House is continuing to strengthen its newly established presence in the state. Westword reports the company has signed another Colorado franchise deal, this time to bring a location to Boulder at 1805 29th Street, #1144.

Set to open in December, it’s the first of a seven-unit deal done with Mile High Pizza Cutters LLC, owned by Jamey Cutter and his wife. They are currently looking into other sites in the Front Range area for additional opportunities, and anticipate opening one or two more next year.

“We’ve been looking for a quality concept for the last 10 years. Finding Slice House is so exciting for us to bring to Boulder and a vibrant, growing community with strong economic vitality,” Cutter said. “It’ll be a great spot to introduce Slice House to the communities in our territory.”

A directory for the 29th Street Mall shows it will be located between Madison Reed and Five Guys. A 1,800-square-foot space, it will feature seating for approximately 60 (between the inside and the outdoor patio) and employ about 40 workers. Its operating hours will be Sunday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., with Fridays and Saturdays until 10 p.m.

Slice House serves different pizza styles, pasta, wings, and salads. The company was founded in San Francisco and has expanded to over 20 locations in California, with recent expansions to Utah, Nevada, Tennessee, and now Colorado.
