Denver International Airport is set to welcome Denver Street Eats sometime this year, according to Axios. The eatery will be a place for diverse tastes, offering an expansive menu to those in the airport within the confines of Concourse B.

While an opening date is unknown, it has been teased for a while, and recent permitting records confirm that progress is moving along. This week, architectural plans were approved, and the project received clearance from the Denver Department of Public Health and Environment. Sky Blue Builders is listed as the general contractor on the job.

The restaurant space will be 2,000 square feet and have counter service. It will feature rotating chefs and a constantly evolving menu; the first chefs featured once it opens will be Jeff Osaka from Sushi-Rama and Biju Thomas of Biju’s Little Curry Shop, according to FDD Global.

Denver Street Eats is a restaurant concept developed in partnership with airport concessionary Delaware North, Trugoy Group LLC, and Big Country’s Bar BQ. Delaware North also operates Denver Central Market in RiNo, and says the new airport concept will take influence from that project.
