A new café, Longmont Brunch Club, is slated to open this fall at 1135 Francis Street in northwest Longmont, a recent BizWest article announced. While details about the concept are scarce at this time, it’s been confirmed that a local restaurateur is behind the eatery.

The venture is operated by Baltazar Peña Jr., who is the longtime owner of the Las Palmeras restaurants in Longmont. That chain, which was started in 2008, has two locations, one of which is next to the new brunch spot. It also had a third outpost called Las Palmeras Express, but that closed last year, 99.9 reports.

Records show that an entity titled Longmont Brunch Club LLC was formally established on March 13. While the brand has created social media pages, no content has been posted yet, and the specific opening date or timeline remains unclear.

Liquor licensing lists show the company was granted a Hotel & Restaurant license in August, so it appears there will be cocktails available. What diners can expect food-wise is not known at this time.
