Oliver’s Deli, owned by Betsy Oliver, has been in operation at their 6602 Delmonico Drive address for the last 38 years. Now, the time has come to move into shop number two at 2323 Garden of the Gods Road.

“We are extremely excited to have the opportunity to join the community Red Leg Brewing Company has built at this state-of-the-art, one-of-a-kind venue,” McKenzie Oliver, who will be taking place of the ownership at the second store to carry on her mother’s legacy, told What Now Denver by e-mail on Friday.

Additionally, Oliver assures that their original location will remain open — they are merely expanding their reach a little further.

As to the shipping container the second store will be in, Oliver says, “It will be very similar to the deli, with a slightly reduced menu and a few different touches to cater to the crowd the facility will attract.”

That menu will include coffee drinks, breakfast all day, and a variety of lunch options. Of course, there’s no way they’d miss out on an opportunity to include the sweet breads and muffins the company is known for.

The website also offers catering options, but since everything is handmade, orders require at least 24 hours notice in advance.

While no official opening date has been announced, they’re hopeful to move in by the end of 2021.
