Denver International Airport’s Concourse C location of Einstein Bros. Bagels will temporarily close in January as part of a broader airport restaurant remodel. Denver Business Journal reports that the concessionaire for the facility, located at 8500 Peña Boulevard, is updating F&B options.
The closure will occur in tandem with the neighboring Timberline Steaks & Grille, which will also close for a refresh. Between the two concepts, 125 employees will be affected, but nearly 75% of them will be reassigned to the restaurant roles in the airport.
Mission Yogurt Inc. is a hospitality company that operates various dining options within the concourses. The business also runs Marczyk Fine Foods, Root Down, and Maria Empanada, Que Bueno!, and Williams & Graham speakeasy. It also manages two Einstein Bros. locations at San Diego International Airport, the company website states.
The bagel shop brand is known for a wide range of offerings, including classic bagels, signature flavors, and gourmet brunch sandwich options. It also serves brewed coffee and flavored cold brews. There is another Einstein Bros. at the airport in Terminal A, and that will remain open.
