As a new project to bring a Waldorf Astoria property to Cherry Creek makes progress, the neighborhood is getting excited about the lounge onsite, Peacock Alley. According to Developing Denver, plans have been submitted and are under review for the development, located at 185 Steele St.

Peacock Alley is a legendary part of the prestigious Waldorf hospitality portfolio, present in many of its hotels. The concept gets its name from the nickname given to a famous corridor at the original resort in New York City, where the rich and famous would congregate, according to Crown Creative.

The signature lounge concept will be joined by a 9,500-square-foot ground-level restaurant and a rooftop pool bar at the Waldorf Astoria Residences Denver Cherry Creek. They will offer upscale options for the building’s residents (there will be 38 condos) and the community.

A press release from Hilton states that the development is being led by PMG, with Shears Adkins Rockmore handling the architectural elements and the interiors crafted by BAMO. Further specifics remain under wraps, and a company representative told What Now Denver the brand “will be in touch as soon as we’re able to share more details of the project.”
