Permits Filed for NOVEL Rooftop Bar

Culinary Creative Group is bringing drinks and bites to top of the high-rise.

New apartment property NOVEL RiNo’s rooftop lounge will officially be under construction by the end of this year. Permits filed with the city show a December anticipated start date for work at the 1350 40th St. building.

Behind the concept is The Culinary Creative Group, an esteemed hospitality group with restaurants A5 Steakhouse, Mister Oso, Señor Bear, and more. The company is also opening concept Magna Kainan in the building, and the rooftop will feature small items from its menu like chips n’ dip, conservas, and pochero.

Building permits are listed as “review in progress” for the 3,728-square-foot space atop the 12-story, 483-unit building. It will include a bar, lounge, and patio area. Work is scheduled to start on December 20, and the anticipated opening date is May 1, 2024. 

Records state that the business will be open from 11 a.m. to midnight and expects to serve about 200 patrons per day. The listed construction valuation of the project is $282,000.
