Starbucks has submitted proposals for a new location in south Broomfield at 6445 W 120th Ave. The city is currently reviewing the company’s plans.

The new location is proposed to be located in an old Pizza Hut/Wing Street in the Villager Square shopping complex off W 120th Ave. That concept appears to have gone out of business sometime in 2020.

Anna Bertanzetti, planning director with the City and County of Broomfield, told What Now Denver that there is no estimated opening at this time. Staff is reviewing the addition of a drive-thru to the property, and then a public hearing date will be set, she said.

“The current proposal includes re-purposing the existing building as a drive-through coffee shop, with new drive-through lanes being added. The proposal also includes the reconfiguration of the parking lot and new pedestrian access to the building,” Bertanzetti said. “Staff has provided the applicant with comments on their plans for parking and circulation, and the proposed site design may change based on these comments.”
