Well-known regional pizza chain Dion’s has submitted an application for a new restaurant at 18397 Green Valley Ranch Blvd. Records show the permits are being reviewed currently by the City and County of Denver, and are pending approval.

The project consists of constructing a 4,550-square-foot establishment with a drive-thru and 39 parking stalls. Dion’s is said to employ between 60 and 80 people at each location, which would bring more jobs to the growing Green Valley Ranch area.

Founded in 1978 in Albuquerque, New Mexico, the chain has since expanded its footprint to include locations in the Centennial state, as well as Texas. There are three locations currently open in the area: Aurora, Commerce City, and Colorado Springs.

The restaurant’s menu features the classic favorites: pizza, salads, and subs. It’s known for its sauces made from cage-free eggs. The chain emphasizes using fresh, local products and hosts a family-friendly environment.
