Que Rico Raspados will relocate to another unit at the Twenty-Ninth Street Mall in Boulder, according to the shopping complex. The eatery temporarily paused operations and is in the process of moving just north in the parking lot to 1905 29th St #1174.
Formerly a neighboring tenant of Panera Bread and Five Guys, maps on the mall website show the business is “coming soon” to the space next to Veterinary Emergency Group, just off Walnut Street and across from Target. The unit used to house Meta Burger, which closed late last year, Westword reports.
The Mexican restaurant, known for its colorful shaved ice treats, crepes, street tacos, ramen, and birria-packed specialties, closed its doors a few months ago. Kura Sushi Bar will be moving into that space (which was covered by What Now Denver).
Que Rico Raspados has grown its presence across the Front Range over the years. In addition to the Boulder store, the brand operates locations on the 16th Street Mall in downtown Denver, on South Federal Boulevard, and at FlatIron Crossing in Broomfield.
