I.C. Brewhouse announced earlier this month that it would be closing its two Colorado locations to undergo a complete rebrand. Champagne Velvet concepts are taking over the spaces, one of which is the Castle Rock property at 2355 Mercantile St.

“Something big has been brewing at I.C. Brewhouse, and we can hardly contain our excitement! Starting November 10th, we’re closing our doors at Centennial and Castle Rock as we prepare to unveil a brand new experience just for you!” the company wrote.

This new Castle Rock restaurant will be called Champagne Velvet Proper Kitchen & Bar, and is set to open next spring. The Centennial location has already been rebranded and just debuted as CV Tap House & Kitchen this week, according to Indiana Beer News.

The latest venture from Indiana-based Upland Brewing Company and Upland Hospitality, Champagne Velvet is inspired by a historic pilsner originally created in 1902. Upland has reformulated the recipe to preserve its original character, its website explains.
