Hopscotch Beer Garden is expected to open in late winter 2026 at Denargo Market in Denver’s River North Art District, adding a large outdoor-focused food and beverage destination to the multi-phase redevelopment along the South Platte River. Its address will be 3380 Denargo St, according to the Denver Post.
The project is a joint venture between Golub & Company and Formativ, with operations handled by DrinkDenver. Hopscotch will be designed in collaboration with landscape architecture firm Sasaki, and will span more than 17,000 square feet. Construction is currently underway, with final permitting expected within the coming months.
It will feature a bar, patio, flexible event space, and turf field designed for lawn games and events curated by DrinkDenver, such as trivia nights, watch parties, weekly happy hours, bike-in movie nights, and fitness classes. The site will also incorporate a reinforced heated tent structure for all-year use. On-leash dogs will be allowed.
Food and beverage offerings will center on draft beer, wine, kombucha, and canned cocktails, paired with a small selection of ready-to-eat light bites and a rotating lineup of food trucks. Hopscotch’s website advertises its anticipated hours as: Thursday and Friday from 2 PM to 10 PM., on Saturdays from noon to 10 PM., and Sundays from noon to 7 PM.
“We are committed to creating spaces that connect people to the riverfront and to each other. Denargo Market will become a dynamic day-to-night destination for Denver and the surrounding area – bridging a gap between RiNo and downtown Denver – with Hopscotch at its helm. The beer garden will be the first major point of connection for this pocket of the city and a cornerstone of placemaking and programming for surrounding residents,” Laura Newman, vice president of investment and development at Golub & Co., told What Now Denver.
