Saucy Cluckers is Making a Comeback

The plant-based concept closed last year but is being reinstituted.

Saucy Cluckers, a 100% plant-based joint that was popular in Boulder will open again, according to the company. The team behind the eatery, which used to be at 1911 Broadway off the Pearl St. Mall, is working to come back. 

The concept, which specializes in vegan foods, announced in late November it would be closing. However, recent social media posts from the business state that the owner is scouting at locations in Denver or Boulder. 

Owner Jaime Surenkamp said, “We are so grateful and truly blown away by the reception we have gotten from all of you. What started as an idea at home grew into a food truck, and then into our first location.” 

“We have some next steps we are working on for 2024 and will be sure to keep you all posted on what the future holds for Saucy,” she continued. 

Saucy Cluckers offers a tantalizing menu for those seeking 100% plant-based options. From Buffalo and BBQ Chick’n Wings and wraps and its famous totchos. The food is made using only six ingredients.
